Huntsville, AL – Small Business Administration (SBA) Region IV Area Director Mitchell Morand presented Qualis Corporation located in Huntsville, AL, with the Administrator’s Award for Excellence. This award is tied to the SBA 2007 Region IV Subcontractor of the Year award, which Qualis received in Washington D.C. in April. To win this award, Qualis had to be the best subcontractor in an eight-state region: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. […]

In January, the US Army’s Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training, and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) awarded Qualis the prime contract for training and program activities of the Robotic Systems Joint Project Office at Redstone Arsenal. The contract, with a value of $8M for the first year, focuses on acquisition, logistics, and repair of robotic systems being used in Iraq and Afghanistan. Jacobs is the major subcontractor.

The Army Aviation is partnering with the NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center’s Materials and Processes Laboratory (MMTF) to meet the helicopter challenges under a NASA Space Act Agreement.
