HUNTSVILLE, AL (May 29, 2020) – Qualis Corporation is very pleased to announce the promotion of Mr. Marc Peterson to the role and responsibility of Vice President of Strategic Programs. Mr. Peterson assumes the new role after serving as Senior Director of Strategic Programs for Qualis and Program Manager supporting two of the company’s major prime contracts and subcontracts for the United States Air Force, the Missile Defense Agency and Strategic Army programs.
Since joining Qualis in 2017, Mr. Peterson has successfully led his teams in supporting Air Force and Army strategic programs as well as support to Space Force programs by adding value to their organizations and providing strategic advisory services in test and evaluation, cyber, engineering and acquisition management.
“This promotion recognizes the significant contributions Marc has made to Qualis and our customers during his tenure with the organization and was effective at the May 26, 2020 meeting of the Board of Directors. He has made the transition from a ‘Blue Suiter’ to the civilian world very nicely,” said Qualis President Roderick Duke.
Mr. Peterson’s resume includes a 25-year distinguished career in the US Air Force culminating at the O6 level. Prior to joining the Qualis team he served as Commander of AFOTEC’s Detachment 4 at Peterson AFB, CO where he supported operational T&E for 32 space, cyberspace, ballistic missile, and missile defense test programs. His experience also includes nuclear coded ICBM operations as well as Space & Cyberspace.
