HUNTSVILLE, AL (December 19, 2018) – The U.S. Navy recently announced Qualis Corporation as an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ), multiple-award contract (MAC) recipient on the SeaPort Next Generation (SeaPort-NxG) (N00178-18-R-7000) contract vehicle.
Qualis will be competing among other companies for task orders estimated at $5 billion in services procured per year under the SeaPort-NxG multiple award contracts, a value of just over $50 billion annually over a 10-year period.
“We offer a nice Navy-centric team that can bring value to the Department of the Navy’s programs and missions. Preparing our Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines with the superior equipment they need, when they need it, is key to our integrated support strategy,” said Qualis President Rod Duke.
Over the last 25 years, Qualis has become a lead integrator providing program management and engineering support to defense and aerospace agencies in the areas of systems engineering, software and network support, range support, test and evaluation, research and development, modeling and simulation, financial services, integrated logistics, configuration management, quality assurance and more.
“Qualis is excited to offer this capability as a prime contractor for the Navy,” said Duke.
SeaPort NxG is the Naval Sea Systems Command’s electronic platform for acquiring support services in 23 functional areas across the areas of engineering and program management support services. The SeaPort portal is an efficient means of soliciting offers from thousands of MAC holders from large and small businesses and their approved team members. Each task order is competitively solicited, awarded and managed using this platform.
