Systems Engineering

Qualis provides a full spectrum of engineering services to the US Air Force including systems, subsystems, and component engineering. Qualis provides systems engineering support for developing, acquiring, and fielding both technologically superior and affordable weapon systems. Qualis focuses on defining customer needs and required functionality early in the development cycle, documents requirements, then proceeds with design and system validation while considering the complete system lifecycle.

Qualis streamlines the time required to field new weapons capabilities by embedding systems engineering and test and evaluation with requirements and early phase acquisition. We provide support to all phases of the acquisition cycle, including design, test, review and analysis, and technical management support.

Qualis provides a variety of systems engineering support for the US Air Force, US Army, DoD Joint Programs, US Navy, and NASA.

Our engineering support to NASA is focused on human-rated flight hardware design, development, and test of components and entire vehicle design for major human space programs (e.g., structural dynamics, avionics and software integration, attitude and roll control, stage separation, materials selection and manufacturing, and vehicle systems integration and logistics).
We have supported the Space Shuttle program from its infancy through both successful Return-To-Flight efforts.
For Joint DoD programs, Qualis provides systems engineering for the development and acquisition of robotic systems that locate and destroy improvised explosive devices (IEDs) in combat zones.
