| In the United States, we maintain a warehouse of robots and all of the required parts for repairing robots. We use the efficient Catalog Ordering and Logistics Tracking System (COLTS) system to coordinate the repair and inventory of robots worldwide. Our employees in Iraq receive damaged robots from across the country and work quickly to repair them. The Qualis team is also doing “value added” work by taking heavily-damaged robots and rebuilding them from usable parts, resulting in significant savings to the Government. |

Qualis also fully supports the PEO Ground Combat System’s Qualis provides systems engineering and technical assistance for USAF weapons and targets, instituting design for manufacturing techniques as an integral component of the system development and demonstration phase of the program. We assess system reliability for the program and ensure reliability allocations are achievable and demonstrated through a System Reliability Growth program. We evaluate the system’s affordability and ensure a methodology is in place to evaluate cost throughout the program. We develop proactive risk mitigation plans to maintain cost controls. We plan / support reliability growth, qualification and life cycle systems testing. We also provide logistics planning and analysis for test execution DoD and Civil contracts. Qualis personnel visit robotic manufacturers to assist the Government in determining the qualification of their production process to include quality assurance and quality control measures. Upon receiving a robotic system, our technicians conduct Quality Assurance / Quality Check (QA/QC) procedures to ensure the delivered product meets quality standards and Government specifications. Qualis engineers review COTS robotic designs and provide engineering analysis on those designs and actual COTS products. Our engineers ensure systems are integrated properly and that the robots function properly especially after Government modifications to the COTS products. Qualis technicians represent their customer in CONUS field locations and also overseas in Iraq and Afghanistan. Our technicians repair and maintain the robotic systems used by Army and Marine Corps units; our trainers train the units on basic operation and maintenance of the robots, and our supply personnel manage all robotic parts, supplies, and inventory for the customer at 11 field sites around the world.
