Qualis Employee Receives 2007 Contractor Tester of the Year Award

Huntsville, Ala., April 16, 2008 – An employee of Qualis Corporation, Derrell A. Parker, received the “2007 Contractor Tester of the Year Award” at the National Test and Evaluation conference.  This national honor is sponsored by the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA), America’s leading defense industry organization.

The “Tester of the Year” awards, presented to outstanding individuals in the field of Test & Evaluation, provide an opportunity for the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) and each Military Service Test & Evaluation Department to select three award recipients for recognition as the Tester of the Year in specific categories.  The three categories recognized are: Military, Civilian, and Contractor. Parker was recognized for his outstanding work as an Air Force contractor at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida.
