Qualis believes in giving back to our communities. Here are some of the community activities we've participated in.

Qualis Participates in 2008 Heart Walk
On March 29th, Qualis participated in the 2008 American Heart Association Heart Walk. The American Heart Association’s signature fund-raising event, the Heart Walk promotes physical activity and heart-healthy living in a fun family environment. This year over 1 million walkers participated in more than 500 events, raising funds to save lives from this country’s number 1 and number 3 killers – heart disease and stroke.

Sponsor of the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra's Young Artists
Qualis is the proud sponsor of the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra's 2007-2008 Young Artists. The HSO Young Artist Auditions provide young musicians an opportunity to perform as soloists with a professional symphony orchestra and give recognition to these dedicated young musicians for their talent and accomplishments.

Christmas Angels
The Qualis home office adopted five children from the Salvation Army's Angel Tree. The Angel Tree program provides new clothing and toys to needy children.

2007 United Way Drive
Qualis participated in an annual United Way fund drive from October 1 to November 1. This year we raised over $13,000.

Qualis Donates to the NASA Stars Program
Qualis contributed $5,000 to the NASA Stars (Science, Technology and Rural Students) program. Qualis Corporation and its employees have supported the teacher training component of the NASA Stars program for five years.”

Qualis Supporting Honor Flight
Honor Flight is a non-profit organization that helps WWII veterans fly free of charge from the Tennessee Valley to Washington D.C. to visit the new WWII memorial. The first flight was April 4, and Honor Flight is currently raising funds for an additional (and larger) flight early this fall. Qualis supports Honor Flight and encourages other areas businesses to support the organization, too.

August 2007 Junior Achievement Bowl-A-Thon
Qualis was a corporate sponsor of United Way's Junior Achievement Bowl-a-Thon. Qualis employees raised over $2,500, the second largest donation from a company.

2007 Relay for Life
Qualis was a sponsor for the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life and raised over $2500.

Butler High School Theatre Company Sponsor
Qualis was a Corporate Sponsor for the Butler Theatre Company. The students put on three amazing plays. Booby Trap, which won several awards, was performed in February. Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind was preformed in March and The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe was preformed in April.

Constellation Movie Premier
Qualis was a sponsor of the locally filmed Constellation movie. Several Qualis executives attended the March 15 movie premiere.

2006 Fort Walton Beach Regional Science Bowl
It was a tremendous pleasure to witness the wealth of knowledge displayed by the students at the Fort Walton Beach 2006 Regional Science Bowl. Qualis presented $1000 to the first place regional winner Fort Walton Beach High School (FWBHS) as well as $100 to each student who participated.
